The Betts Group has been a British family owned business for over 250 years and we pride ourselves on retaining a team of loyal and highly experienced staff. In this section of our site, you can access information on some of the Betts Envirometal team.

Charlie Betts

Director

Charlie is the Managing Director of The Betts Group, and is responsible for the commercial strategy for all areas of the Group including Stephen Betts refiners, Betts Envirometal, Betts Investments & Betts Metal Sales. Charlie is the ninth generation of the Betts family to run the business.

Cathy Law

Business Development Manager

Cathy has been part of the Betts team for over 30 years and in this time she has worked in all areas of the business selling products and services. Cathy has vast experience in providing tailor made services to suit our customers x-ray film, silver recovery, waste management and storage needs but is also an expert in all precious metal bearing wastes. Cathy looks after a majority of our major accounts and focuses particularly on servicing NHS and NDT customers.

Sally joined the Betts Group in 2011, initially working hands-on in our x-ray silver recovery operation. She now uses her experience to provide expert sales support and customer service. Sally is based at our Kidderminster factory and will often be the first person your first port of call when you have an enquiry for Betts Envirometal. 

Ben McLaughlin

Envirometal Site Engineer

Ben has worked in the Betts Group since 1999 and in that time, he has worked in all areas of the waste processing and refining facility. He holds an ADR licence for the transport of hazardous waste and has almost unrivalled knowledge in understanding exactly how to handle and process all precious metal bearing waste so our customers can realise the best returns

Our site engineers go much further than simply collecting your waste. Craig will help to ensure your waste is correctly labelled, the right paperwork is completed and that we are achieving the best possible waste management solution for the site he is visiting.
